he Pentagon has confirmed images showing unidentified flying objects hovering over US warships in California were real and taken by Navy personnel.

The revelation came just days after Wales star Gareth Bale said he’d also seen a UFO.

The images captured by the US Navy were said to have been leaked from an official investigation into unidentified flying objects, which was readying evidence for Congress due in June.

The pictures, obtained by filmmaker Jeremy Corbell, show UFOs above four US vessels off the Californian coast in 2019, According to Mystery Wire.

One image shows a pyramid-shaped object and others have been listed as ‘unknown’ reports the Daily Mirror.

In a statement, a Pentagon spokesperson reportedly said: “I can confirm that the referenced photos and videos were taken by Navy personnel.

“The [Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force] has included these incidents in their ongoing examinations.”

Last month The Drive reported that US Navy warships had been swarmed by six aircraft described as ‘performing brazen manoeuvres’ over the warships near a sensitive military training range.

During the incident in July 2019 none of the warships were reportedly able to identify the drones and the incident has baffled witnesses.

Recently it was reported that The US has a stack of secret evidence showing UFOs doing things that have defied explanation.

These include breaking the sound barrier without creating a sonic boom, and carrying out manoeuvres which are impossible with human technology.

John Ratcliffe, who served as Director of National Intelligence under Donald Trump, made the claim ahead of the release of an ‘X Files’ report into ‘unidentified aerial phenomena’.

He claimed there were numerous sightings all over the world that military chiefs had been unable to explain.

Details of many of them are set to be released in a report by Pentagon bosses in June, he said.

The news report came days after Wales and Tottenham star Gareth Bale said he had also seen a UFO,

His revelation came during a chat with his club and country teammate Joe Rodon which was shared on Spurs’ YouTube channel, reports the Daily Mirror.

The pair got on to the topic after Rodon, 23, asked his teammate if aliens exist, but he grew increasingly bemused as Bale regularly came back to the topic throughout the Q&A.

“We’ve had a long discussion about this,” said Rodon as he posed the initial question concerning aliens.

“I’m not going to say they don’t exist so I’ll say, not to cause an argument, I’m not against it or for it. I know you believe in it.”

Explaining his stance, Bale replied: “There’s a lot of conspiracy theories and there’s footage of UFOs out there that’s been released by the US Government.”

In response, Rodon questioned the legitimacy of Bale’s evidence, labelling supposed videos of UFOs “fake”.

The former Swansea star also reiterated his view that mankind does not know “what’s out there”.

But Bale – who is on currently loan from Real Madrid – was not to be dissuaded and reaffirmed his stance, declaring: “There is definitely, 100 per cent aliens. 100 per cent. There’s been video footage released.”

The conversation moved on but the pair later revisited topic as Rodon amusingly asked his teammate who drives UFOs.

Bale retorted: “I know some UFOs are probably secret government things.”

He added: “I actually have [seen a UFO] once. I actually have.”

The Q&A concluded as Bale pushed Rodon for an answer on whether aliens exist, with the latter relenting and saying yes so he could “get you off my back”.
